What time should I arrive at the Theatre?

We recommend you arrive 30 minutes prior to curtain when the lobby opens; especially if you have tickets at Will Call. While you wait for the play to begin you can enjoy our lovely Narsai David Courtyard and partake of delectable snacks and drinks in our bar, Michael’s Second Act.

PLEASE NOTE THE 7PM CURTAIN TIME ON WEDNESDAY AND SUNDAY EVENINGS.

Late seating

Performances begin promptly. Latecomers will be seated at the House Manager’s discretion, and may have to watch on a video monitor in the lobby until intermission. Patrons who leave the Roda Theatre during a performance may—at the sole discretion of the house manager—be re-seated during the performance, not in their same seats. Patrons who leave the Peet’s Theatre during a performance will not be re-seated during the performance, but can watch the performance on a video monitor in the lobby. This is a policy we must enforce without exceptions, due to the design of our theatres, and for the safety of our actors and audience members.

Smoking and e-cigarettes

Smoking—including vaping or the use of e-cigarettes—is prohibited in Berkeley Rep’s buildings and courtyard.

Bringing children to the Theatre

We love introducing young persons to live theatre! However, some of our productions include mature subject matter and/or language that may be inappropriate for children. Adults are ultimately the best judge of what is right for the young ones in their charge. Please inquire with us whenever you’re thinking of bringing children to a performance. No babes in arms.

Service fees

There is a $9 per order service charge on telephone and online ticket purchases (waived for subscribers). There is no service charge for tickets purchased in person at the box office.

If at the last minute you are unable to use your tickets, you may turn them in as a contribution to Berkeley Rep. The value of the donated tickets is tax-deductible and acknowledged by mail. Tickets for past performances cannot be considered a donation.

All ticket sales are final. There are no refunds.

* The box office is closed on Mondays.

Resale of tickets

Tickets purchased through the Berkeley Rep box office or website may not be resold at a price above face value without the express written consent of Berkeley Rep. Berkeley Rep reserves the right to cancel any orders placed by ticket brokers and/or their representatives.

Purchase of tickets from unauthorized sources

Admittance is only guaranteed with tickets purchased through Berkeley Rep. We assume no liability for tickets purchased through any unauthorized channel, including Craig’s List, StubHub, E-Bay, and other secondary market or ticket broker services. We strongly advise against purchasing tickets from any source other than the Berkeley Rep box office or website, or an authorized third-party seller such as Goldstar Events or Tix Bay Area. Tickets purchased from unauthorized sources may be stolen or fraudulent, and if so are not valid for event admission. If you are unsure if a ticket seller has been authorized to sell Berkeley Rep tickets, please contact the box office prior to purchasing from the source in question.

How can I be contacted in case of emergency?

Please do not use these numbers for ticket exchanges or other box office inquiries.
