Theatre-based workshops are available in K–12 classrooms in nine Bay Area counties, with curriculum designed to meet individual classroom needs and goals.

Teen One-Acts Festival

Every year two original plays are written, performed, directed, designed, and produced by Bay Area high school students, while being mentored by Berkeley Rep professionals.

Youth classes

Opportunities for K–8 grade students—transform into many different characters by exploring Native American legends or a rockin’ school musical, or design your character through improv or extreme fashion.

Teen classes

Looking to ignite your creativity? Dig in with classes for high schoolers studying Shakespeare, playwriting, design, musical theatre, and improv.

Adult classes

Train with over 30 eclectic classes suited for every artistic interest and level. Choose from acting, improv, voice, writing, and more.

Teen Council

Empowering artistically-driven teens as they create, attend, discuss, and advocate for theatre with their peers from throughout the Bay Area.

Join us for Sunday Sampler and try a slate of upcoming classes for free—March 26 (1–3pm).

Student matinees

Bring your students to the Theatre! For only $10 per student, middle and high school students can attend theatre with their classes as part of the Student Matinee Series.
