Berkeley Rep’s Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender Events

Berkeley Rep’s wildly successful night/OUT series offers extraordinary productions followed by fabulous parties for the LGBT community. (Hint: we’ll bring the hors d’oeuvres, drinks and live music from cutting-edge Bay Area DJs; you bring scintillating conversation and your best dance moves.) Ticket prices include access to both the performance and post-show party. Discounts are available for persons under 30 and all groups of 10 or more.

30-Below
Friday, September 18 / 8pm

There are a lot of reasons it’s great to be under 30. Less wrinkles, more sleep and higher metabolism, to name a few. But there are also a lot of reasons it sucks to be in your 20s—and tight finances tops the list. Need a pick-me-up? Come to Berkeley Rep. If you’re less than 30 years old, you enjoy half-price tickets for nearly every performance.

30-Below is the coolest theatre after-party for people in their 20s. Free food and drinks, live music and more. It’s a great place to hang out with friends—or maybe make a few new ones. And better yet, it’s free with your ticket.

An American Idiot Halloween
Saturday, October 31 / 8pm

Halloween

Get your Halloween off to a rock-and-roll start at Berkeley Rep! See Green Day’s American Idiot on Halloween and start the party early. If you’re under 30, your ticket is half-price! Come in costume and your first drink before the show is on us. Bar specials include a Bloody Mary, the St. Jimmy, the Letterbomb and others, as well as an outstanding selection of local brews. Stick around after the show, too. As soon as the curtain falls around 9:30pm, we’ll be giving away prizes for the best costume of the night, and the winner will receive a Levi’s American Idiot tote bag containing a souvenir book, limited edition commemorative poster, the American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown albums and an American Idiot T-shirt.
