Corporate participation ranges from the $3,000 Performance Sponsor level, to levels of $100,000 and above. Below is a sampling of sponsorship opportunities and associated recognition benefits. Opening night at Berkeley Rep is reserved for the Theatre’s top funders. Between 100–200 arts patrons attend the high-profile dinner that precedes each opening night performance. Berkeley Rep’s School of Theatre has the largest and most comprehensive arts education and outreach program of any theatre in California. Your company’s name or logo will be recognized on our website and in the playbill throughout the year and attached to School of Theatre marketing materials and press releases.
Special opportunities exist to sponsor specific School of Theatre programs, such as the free teaching hour Berkeley Rep offers to every elementary, middle and high school in the nine Bay Area counties, Performance Lab, the Teen Council, the Fellowship Program and the Berkeley Rep School of Theatre Scholarship Fund, which provides eligible families with financial aid covering between 30%–100% of tuition.

This free lecture series attracts approximately 400 Berkeley Rep patrons and has featured some of the brightest stars working in the theatre today, including Rita Moreno, Carrie Fisher, Tony Kushner and the Chicano performance trio Culture Clash.
