Employee perks and participation
Berkeley Rep’s Corporate Partnership Program offers many team-building, networking, civic leadership, and employee recognition opportunities.
Hosting an event at Berkeley Rep has become an important part of client cultivation and employee recognition strategies by some of the Bay Area’s top firms. Many of Berkeley Rep’s corporate sponsorship packages include discounted or free rental of Berkeley Rep’s event spaces, along with performance tickets. Companies that have recently hosted their clients or employees at Berkeley Rep include American Express, Mechanics Bank, Peet’s Coffee, and Wells Fargo.
For information about hosting a corporate event at Berkeley Rep, please contact Daria Hepps at 510 647–2904 or email@example.com.
Corporate partners are offered a team-building opportunity for up to 14 employees. Your company’s staff may serve as volunteer ushers for a student matinee performance, where many students will be seeing a professional theatre production for the first time. Corporate volunteers are welcome to wear their company’s branded gear during their ushering service and are invited to watch the show afterward in complimentary seats.
The employees of Berkeley Rep’s corporate partners enjoy a number of benefits at the Theatre, including:
Employees of partner organizations receive 20% off full-priced tickets for any performance in the seven-play subscription season, and employees under 30 years of age receive 50% off full-priced tickets (restrictions may apply).
Special ticket offers
Employees of partner organizations receive special ticket offers (announced via email) for productions throughout the season.
School of Theatre discounts
Employees of partner organizations receive 10% off tuition for themselves and their immediate family for all classes throughout the year at Berkeley Rep’s School of Theatre. Check here for class descriptions and schedules.
The Corporate Council is a group of business leaders—including Berkeley Rep Trustees and other senior managers and executives from top financial services companies, law firms, retailers, and consultancies—who help to strengthen Berkeley Rep’s relationships in the Bay Area business community by advocating the Theatre’s value as a key community and cultural resource. Council members work to sustain artistic excellence at Berkeley Rep by engaging the Bay Area business community as corporate partners, individual donors, audience members, and key community partners. At the same time, Council members gain access to valuable networking opportunities and exclusive behind-the-scenes events.
