The artistic quality you enjoy at Berkeley Rep depends on the support of patrons like you. Your ticket purchase only covers 60% of the actual cost of the production; the balance is raised from our community of donors. That is why we ask you to sustain the artistic excellence of Berkeley Repertory Theatre.

We are steadfast in our commitment to lifelong learning for all members of our community. This season we celebrate 20 years of award-winning education programs with student matinee performances, public school residencies, classes for youth and adults at our School of Theatre and our Playmaking Project for incarcerated youth. Serving over 18,000 people last season, our School programs more than ever before depended on the contributions to the Annual Fund as state and federal funding for California’s schools waned.

Berkeley Rep also endeavors to make theatre affordable, by keeping ticket prices low as compared to our for-profit counterparts, offering discounted tickets to students and seniors, and providing free tickets to other non-profit organizations. This is only made possible by contributions to the Annual Fund.
