get a great price at any time

In the past, our HotTix program offered a limited number of discount tickets at NOON each day for that evening’s performance. Now, however, we’ve introduced new prices that allow you to buy an affordable seat at any time! You won’t have to wait in line at lunchtime—and you won’t have to pay with cash. These new prices make Berkeley Rep more accessible to people in the community who are just starting school, starting careers and starting families—because lower prices are available anytime, for every performance!

policies

what time should I arrive at the theatre?

We recommend you arrive thirty minutes prior to curtain when the lobby opens; especially if you have tickets at Will Call. While you wait for the play to begin you can enjoy our lovely Narsai David Courtyard, look for Berkeley Rep merchandise at our Theatre Store and check out our fantastic concessions bar.

PLEASE NOTE THE WEDNESDAY EVENING CURTAIN TIME OF 7PM

late seating

Performances begin promptly. Latecomers will be seated at the House Manager’s discretion, and may have to watch on a video monitor in the lobby until intermission. Patrons who exit the theatre during a performance may not re-enter until intermission. This is a policy we must enforce without exceptions, due to the design of our theatres, and for the safety of our actors and audience members.

service fees

There is a $7 per order service charge on telephone and online ticket purchases (waived for Subscribers who purchase by phone).

refund & exchange policy

All sales are final, and there are no refunds. If you are a Subscriber and the tickets in question were purchased as part of a subscription package, they may be exchanged. Otherwise, if at the last minute you are unable to use your tickets, you may turn them in as a contribution to Berkeley Rep. The value of the donated tickets is tax-deductible and acknowledged by mail. Tickets for past performances cannot be considered a donation.

how can I be contacted in case of emergency?

Since we ask all patrons to silence their cell phones and pagers while in the Theatre, please leave the below numbers with your babysitter or anyone else who may need to contact you at the Theatre in case of emergency. Please do not use these numbers for ticket exchanges or other box office inquiries.

On the Thrust you should call 510.812.8447.
In the Roda you should call 510.812.8446.

seating charts

Berkeley Rep has changed our theatres to accommodate three different price tiers, allowing us to introduce new, lower prices for every performance. You can now find tickets as low as $27, with additional discounts for students, seniors and those under 30. This means that, whether you’re just starting a career, just starting a family or just living on a limited budget, you can afford to see more world-class theatre.

In the Roda Theatre the farthest seat is only 49 feet from the stage.
On the Thrust Stage no seat is more than 44 feet from the stage.
