Tickets > Policies
We recommend you arrive thirty minutes prior to curtain when the lobby opens; especially if you have tickets at Will Call. While you wait for the play to begin you can enjoy our lovely Narsai David Courtyard, look for Berkeley Rep merchandise at our Theatre Store and check out our fantastic concessions bar.
PLEASE NOTE THE 7PM CURTAIN TIME ON WEDNESDAY AND SUNDAY EVENINGS
Performances begin promptly. Latecomers will be seated at the House Manager’s discretion, and may have to watch on a video monitor in the lobby until intermission. Patrons who leave the Roda Theatre during a performance may—at the sole discretion of the house manager—be re-seated during the performance, not in their same seats. Patrons who leave the Thrust Stage during a performance will not be re-seated during the performance, but can watch the performance on a video monitor in the lobby. This is a policy we must enforce without exceptions, due to the design of our theatres, and for the safety of our actors and audience members.
Free assisted-listening devices are available in the lobby prior to the performance by exchanging a license or credit card. No advance reservations required. Please be sure to remove your hearing aids before engaging the device.
Scripts for the hearing-impaired are available in the box office.
Recordings describing the show are available. Please call 510 647–2949 at least two days before your performance.
Berkeley Rep is wheelchair-accessible. Please see our seating charts for wheelchair seating locations (PDF).
Have other special access needs? We’re happy to work with you—please call the box office at 510 647–2949 and let us know how we can help.
There is a $7 per order service charge on telephone and online ticket purchases (waived for Subscribers who purchase by phone). There is no service charge for tickets purchased in person at the box office.
All sales are final, and there are no refunds. If you are a Subscriber and the tickets in question were purchased as part of a subscription package, they may be exchanged until midnight the day before your scheduled performance. Click here to exchange tickets online. Otherwise, if at the last minute you are unable to use your tickets, you may turn them in as a contribution to Berkeley Rep. The value of the donated tickets is tax-deductible and acknowledged by mail. Tickets for past performances cannot be considered a donation.
