Free speech—pre- and post-show enrichment programs
Every season, Berkeley Rep hosts Page to Stage, a series of free discussions with eminent theatre artists, designed to give audiences additional insight into the plays and playwrights produced at Berkeley Rep. Past programs have featured theatre luminaries such as David Edgar, Sarah Jones, Tony Kushner, Delroy Lindo, Donald Margulies, Terrence McNally, Charles Mee, Rita Moreno, Salman Rushdie and the Chicano performance trio Culture Clash.
Each talk starts at 7pm and runs about 60 minutes. No tickets are necessary for these free events, but seating is limited. The lobby opens at 6pm, and doors to the Theatre open at 6:30pm for general admission seating. Berkeley Rep donors at the Friend level or higher ($75+) enjoy reserved seating and an exclusive post-talk reception with the featured luminary. For more information about Page to Stage or how to become a donor, call 510 647–2907.
Special thanks to our in-kind sponsors: Bistro Liaison, Meridian International Sports Café and Raymond Vineyards.
Free docent presentations offer a look inside each play and its development at Berkeley Rep. An engrossing 30-minute presentation begins one hour before every Tuesday and Thursday 8pm performance.
Post-show discussions occur after specific performances. Stick around for a lively 30-minute Q&A with the cast or other company members.
Join us for complimentary tastings! Sample wine, beer, chocolate, champagne, vodka, organic produce or other delights before most Friday 8pm, Saturday 8pm and Sunday 7pm performances. New tasting events are being added all the time, so be sure to check back often!

There are a lot of reasons it’s great to be under 30. Less wrinkles, more sleep and higher metabolism, to name a few. But there are also a lot of reasons it sucks to be in your 20s—and tight finances tops the list. Need a pick-me-up? Come to Berkeley Rep. If you’re less than 30 years old, you enjoy half-price tickets for nearly every performance.
And, if you select any of the below performances, you’ll also get to attend 30-Below, the coolest theatre after-party for people in their 20s. Free food and drinks, live music and more. It’s a great place to hang out with friends—or maybe make a few new ones. And better yet, it’s free with your ticket.
For tickets call 510 647–2949 and mention you are interested in buying tickets for 30-Below. Box Office hours: Tuesday–Sunday, noon–7pm.
