Berkeley Rep’s OVATION: Celebrate the transformative power of theatre

Save the date!

Saturday, April 18, 2020
The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco

Join us as we celebrate the transformative power of theatre at Berkeley Rep’s OVATION. This signature event is the Theatre’s only fundraising event of the year and is a night to pay tribute to artistic excellence, bold imagination, and ambitious theatre-making. It’s also an evening when we honor those in our artistic and philanthropic communities who are making an impact in the Bay Area and beyond.

Berkeley Rep’s OVATION takes place on Saturday, April 18, at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco! Unique treasures and one-of-a-kind adventures await you in our thrilling live auction. Craft cocktails and fine wines flow all night long as you savor piquant hors d’oeuvres followed by a sumptuous dinner.

Berkeley Rep’s annual gala attracts prominent community members, creative and corporate professionals, and philanthropic leaders from throughout the Bay Area. Proceeds support all the work on Berkeley Rep’s stages, as well as the Theatre’s arts education programs which serve more than 20,000 students each year. We hope to see you there!

The goal

To raise over $900,000 to benefit the Theatre and its School of Theatre education programs.

Rules for donor-advised funds prohibit the recommendation of grants for any or part of the purchase of tables, tickets, or program advertisements. However, grants can be recommended for contributions or tickets for sponsoring artists. Sponsors at the Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels also may recommend a grant in the amount over and above the Bronze level, so long as the sponsor purchases a Bronze level table with personal funds and does not receive any benefits associated with the higher-tiered sponsorship levels (complimentary hotel, valet, etc.).

* Rideshare credits will cover transportation within San Francisco.
